The Atlantic Takes Top Honors at National Magazine Awards

Here are your 2016 Ellie winners

Last night in New York, the American Society of Magazine Editors handed out this year's National Magazine Awards (also known as Ellies) to 18 different print and digital publications. The night's big winner was The Atlantic, which took home the top prize of Magazine of the Year, beating out The New Yorker, National Geographic, New York and The Hollywood Reporter.

Other notable winners included New York, which was the only publication to collect multiple Ellies (for Magazine Section, Website, Multimedia and General Excellence in News, Sports and Entertainment); Vice News, which won the Video award for the second year in a row; and The Hollywood Reporter, which also won for a second consecutive year in the General Excellence, Special Interest category.
