NEW YORK Something green that’s loaded with energy. Those are the qualities Young & Rubicam creatives were trying to convey about 7UP’s new sister product, dnL, in three TV spots that broke on Monday featuring a feisty leprechaun who bears the same traits.

In the vein of MTV2’s “Talkin’ Baby” spokescharacter, Willy the leprechaun berates passersby, who tower above him, as he stands on a New York street corner with a wagonful of dnLs. “Take a swig of the dnL, kind sir,” he says to a passing 20-something.
