NEW YORK Tremor Media has inked a deal to sell the in-stream video inventory on Brightcove’s network of small and midsize Web publishers.

The agreement, which makes Tremor Brightcove’s “primary ad sales partner,” will expand the reach of Tremor’s ad network. It shows pre-roll spots on 400 sites, such as Hollywood.com and TopTVBytes.com. Brightcove’s network includes sites like ShipwreckCentral.com, FordModels.tv and Tastetv.com.

Brightcove made the decision to use Tremor for standard media sales in order to concentrate on broader packages, such as its recent video channel built for Kohler and syndicated science series for DuPont, said Chris Johnston, director of advertising product management at Brightcove.
