NEW YORK Titan Outdoor has won the right to develop and maintain all advertising space for the New Jersey Transit Authority through 2009, guaranteeing the authority nearly $30 million over five years.

The move unseats Viacom Outdoor, which managed all N.J. Transit advertising and sought to retain the account. Titan will sell all ad space on the client’s 2,100 buses, 845 rail cars, 106 light rail vehicles, 2,200 rail station posters and 30 bridges.

Titan of New York will share outdoor duties with All-Vision, an East Windsor, Conn.-based
