Incumbent Walked Away From $10-20 Mil. Task
NEW YORK–Summit Bancorp is reaching out to an unspecified number of mid-Atlantic shops about an account worth $10-20 million.
The client is being assisted by consultant Michael Manning of The Potomac Group in Vienna, Va.
The business had been handled by The Lunar Group in Whippany, N.J., which resigned in mid-December. Shop president Jeff Propper said the client and agency were “moving in different directions creatively.”
While describing the relationship with Lunar in positive terms, client representative Barbara Horn said the bank wanted to tout its many capabilities via a larger shop.
