The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. kept its business with Omnicom Group after a conflict prevented lead agency BBDO from accepting an estimated $30 million assignment from the gummaker’s new healthcare division.

Wrigley as-signed its new Wrigley Healthcare Division business to DDB Corbett, the healthcare agency formed earlier this year by DDB and Frank J. Corbett.

BBDO, whose Chicago office handles all Wrigley gums, could not take the business because it handles Bayer business, including Alka Seltzer, out of New York.

BBDO suggested DDB.
