In an unlikely pairing, Spike Lee has directed a spot, created by Euro RSCG Tatham here, for Procter & Gamble’s Clearasil acne medication, according to production sources in New York.
Lee took the job through his Brooklyn-based production company, 40 Acres and a Mule. The 30-second spot, “The dance,” is expected air in test markets beginning in February, sources said.
In addition to directing and assisting in postproduction, Lee provided the voiceover for the commercial, sources said.
