Publicis in Seattle has won a plane with no name, but a future promising enough to generate consideration from top shops, sources said.

The yet-to-be-named airline—a high-end, business travel-oriented start-up—is said to be an investment of the Seattle venture-capital group Maveron, which includes Starbucks chairman Howard Schultz, operating partner Judy Neuman and former U.S. Air Force F-16 pilot Ron Graves, sources said.

“It’s going to be big,” Graves said. “That’s all I have to say.”

Big and bold, considering it is entering the airline industry at a time when established airlines are struggling and other recent start-ups, such as Ted and Song, are discounted, no-frills lines.

A source said the estimated $20 million piece of business emanated from Hornall Anderson Design Works in Seattle, which in the past has provided collateral packaging and identity work for Starbucks.
