BOSTON Independent PGR Media said it has made two senior-level hires designed to bolster its account service ranks.
Allyson Simon, 37, joins the media company as director of broadcast media. Mike Labella, 28, joins as media supervisor.
In her new capacity, Simon will help set overall strategies on the Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizzeria, Grolsch Beer, DCU and Tom's of Maine accounts. Prior to PGR, she was a broadcast supervisor at Havas' Arnold MPG in Boston.
LaBella, who is also an alum of Arnold MPG, will oversee the Tommy Hilfiger and Johnston & Murphy accounts.
"With a 40 percent growth in business last year, PGR Media developed the need for a director of broadcast for clients moving towards the medium or focusing on broadcast exclusively," said Pattie Garrahy, CEO of PGR Media in Providence, R.I.
"Allyson Simon's background is a great fit for the role of director of broadcast. As PGR expands into other client categories, Mike's experience in the financial and travel sectors is important, as is his background in direct and interactive," Garrahy said.
