DALLAS Paymentech has awarded its advertising account to Quill Advertising without a review.
The Dallas agency is charged with creative, media and public relations duties for the local client, which sells payment solutions to retailers, e-tailers and restaurants.
Paymentech has traditionally used agencies on a project basis to reach business customers. Fogarty Klein Monroe of Houston handled the client's last branding campaign, which ran in print from April through October.
Quill managed a sales promotion project last year for Paymentech. The tagline: "The payments solutions company."
Client director of marketing Scott Farace said Quill's nearby location, size and impressive work contributed to the decision to retain the agency. "We can get customized attention," Farace said.
Earlier this month Quill introduced a campaign for the company that includes print, direct mail, public relations and e-mail marketing.
Billings are undisclosed.
