NEW YORK Organic said former ZenithOptimedia executive Rick Corteville has joined the agency to lead its media practice.

Corteville begins work at the San Francisco-based Omnicom Group agency today and will report to Quentin George, managing director of Organic’s San Francisco office. Corteville’s responsibilities include all media initiatives for clients, working also with Chad Stoller, Organic’s newly named director of emerging platforms.

At ZenithOptimedia, Corteville was a vice president and account director for Hewlett-Packard. He joined the media agency from Beyond Interactive, which Grey Global Group bought in 2002, where he led the Oracle account.
