OGB Revs New-Business Engine

BOSTON Independent O'Neil Griffin Bodi has hired MaryBeth Vrees as vice president of business development and client planning, a new post, the agency said.

"MaryBeth brings a depth of experience and talent to her new role at OGB, and we are thrilled to welcome her to our staff," said Patrick Griffin, executive vice president of OGB. "She is a highly skilled and enthusiastic communications professional, with a tremendous amount of experience. She'll be reaching out to new clients as well as expanding agency services to our existing client base."

Vrees most recently served as a communications manager for America Online in Albuquerque, N.M., where she oversaw event planning and related chores.

OGB, which has long ranked as New Hampshire's largest agency and is best known for marketing efforts on behalf of the state's lottery, last year saw its revenue and billings rise an estimated 5 percent to about $4 million and $26 million, respectively.
