DETROIT–Two Michigan companies have selected new Michigan agencies and are preparing to launch statewide ad initiatives.
The University of Michigan’s $2 million M-Care account was shifted to TraverRohrback in Kalamazoo from Solomon Friedman Advertising in Bloomfield Hills.
First of Michigan in Detroit chose Kelcom in Pontiac to handle its $1 million account, which was previously with Simons Michelson Zieve in Troy, Mich.
M-Care marketing executives conducted a review involving more than a dozen agencies, both in and outside Michigan, before settling on TraverRohrback, said Steve Kunkel, TraverRohrback account service director.
