JWT Shuffles Organization, Staff to Accommodate Kraft

CHICAGO - J. Walter Thompson here has reorganized its Kraft General Foods management team to better align itself globally with the client.
In the shuffle, senior vp Ray Marione will expand his duties with the client. He was promoted to multinational account director, Kraft General Foods Americas. He now will oversee JWT's relationship with Kraft in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
Internationally, Kraft now will be split between Marione and Jack Tukey, who had been the worldwide director on the business, and Jim Twist, senior vp/Europe. Ron Burns, chief executive officer-JWT North America, heads up the Kraft business for JWT.
'If you looked beyond Chicago, Thompson generates more than half its revenues on a global basis,' Marione said. 'This is on a worldwide track.'
Also named to a new post last week was Lisa Youngclaus, promoted to management director on Kraft, with responsibility for the agency's retail cheese and specialty products divisions. Dana Anderson, senior vp/account director, was appointed to the newly created position of marketing director. She will also continue to oversee the Miracle Whip business.
