Work for American Hawaii Cruises Leads to United States Lines
ATLANTA–Launching the United States Lines’ Hawaiian cruise business presented the GodwinGroup with tough challenges.
The carrier’s goal was nothing less than “revitalizing the cruise industry in the United States.”
The agency was already working with American Hawaii Cruises, a sister company that essentially carries the same U.S. tourists around the same islands. Godwin had spent two years revitalizing that account.
“The challenge was no longer, ‘How do you launch a cruise line?’ ” said Godwin creative director Todd Ballard, “but how do we differentiate the two?”
