BOSTON Edelman said it has acquired an interest in R&P Management Communications, a Mumbai, India-based public relations practice.
Independent Edelman has purchased 50 percent of the company for an undisclosed sum. New York-based Edelman, which has 40 offices and 1,800 staffers worldwide, has been affiliated with R&P since 2002.
“We are delighted to be taking our relationship with Edelman to the next level as we leverage the complementary capabilities of both firms to deliver greater value to our clients,” said Roger Pereira, founder and CEO of R&P, a 50-person company.
