Dieste & Partners has been awarded the $5-6 million Taco Bell Hispanic account.
The Dallas shop won a three-way tussle that included FCB Southern California, teamed with SiboneyUSA in New York, and Mendoza & Dillon of Newport Beach, Calif.
The Irvine, Calif.-based fast-food chain undertook the review after Ornelas & Associates in Dallas resigned the account it held for three years. Agency president Victor Ornelas cited differences over the marketing and creative approach as the reason for the split.
