DBR Teams With Multicultural Shops

BOSTON In an effort to broaden its multicultural offerings, independent DiBona Bornstein & Random last week finalized an alliance with ICOM, a Colorado-based agency network.

Through ICOM, DBR will work with Hispanic agencies al Punto Advertising in Tustin, Calif., and The Viva Partnership in Miami; African American agency E. Morris Communications in Chicago; and Asian American agency Toto Group in New York. DBR plans to partner with the four agencies on multicultural marketing campaigns and possibly new-business pitches.

"It's a dynamic way to offer a very important expertise," said Stan Bornstein, president of the Boston agency.

DBR's clients include Pioneer Investments, Sodexho and Store 24.
