NEW YORK As Starbucks hikes its prices this month, home brew Eight O’Clock Coffee is rolling out the first TV ads in the brand’s 143-year history, and retail rival Dunkin’ Donuts will try to persuade consumers to carve out a time to enjoy a java break in a $25 million campaign.

Eight O’Clock Coffee’s first national TV effort, via Publicis Groupe’s The Kaplan Thaler Group in New York, presents the coffee as a cure for feeling a bit off.
