NEW YORK Avenue A/Razorfish said it has appointed Christopher Follett executive creative director of its San Francisco and Los Angeles offices.
Follett, 37, has been with aQuantive-owned Avenue A/Razorfish for nearly two years, serving as creative director in the Los Angeles office. In his new role, Follett will oversee a staff of about 40 and split his time between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Prior to joining Avenue A/Razorfish, Follett was head of creative services at Divine for three and a half years. He has worked with clients that include United Airlines, Toyota Financial Services and Edison International.
Follett said his main interest is to take Avenue A/Razorfish's experience designing collaborative Internet applications that allow customers to interact with Web sites and apply it to other business models. The agency recently designed an interactive wedding-planning tool that took would-be brides through the planning online and cut down on the number of phone calls, visits and time involved in the process.
