NEW YORK StrawberryFrog has unveiled the first stage of its global work for Onitsuka Tiger, Asics’ premium footwear and apparel brand.

The independent agency picked up the international assignment last October after four years of pan-European work.

The work is a 1.5-meter sculpture of an Onitsuka Tiger made of Japanese icons including sushi, noodles and urban vinyl toys credited to Los Angeles-based artist Gary Baseman, Dutch photographer Marcel Christ and StrawberryFrog.

Accompanying the sculpture is a 30-second short film that will be shown online and at point-of-sale locations in Onitsuka Tiger retail outlets in cities such as London, Paris, Berlin and Zurich, Switzerland.
