CHICAGO OfficeMax is expected to move its $40 million advertising account to Omnicom Group’s DDB in Chicago following a review, according to sources.

The Cleveland-based retailer’s account moved in May to WPP Group’s J. Walter Thompson here from Publicis in New York. That shift followed the arrival at JWT of president Barry Krause, who had left Publicis in February.

DDB officials could not be reached and contenders in the review could not immediately be determined. A client representative declined comment.
