Young & Rubicam creative director Guillermo Vega is moving to Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo as executive creative director. The Buenos Aires native joins ecd Icaro Doria and managing director André Gustavo Soares on the executive management team at the independent agency’s eighth office, which opened late last year.

At Y&R NY, Vega was regional cd for Latin America, global cd on Dell and Bacardi and group cd on Virgin Atlantic, MTV, VH1 and Land Rover. He also served on the global creative board of the WPP agency. Before moving to Y&R NY, he was ecd at the agency’s Buenos Aires office.

Vega’s move to W+K reunites him with Doria. They worked as a team at Y&R NY before Doria joined Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, SF last year.
