This Women-Led New York Shop Keeps Fashion and Beauty Brands Ahead of the Digital Curve

Since opening its doors in 2001, Tag Creative has created digital campaigns for fashion and beauty brands. "We understand how important their image is and how important it is to keep the brand in a very elevated place, but at the same time, you have to be able to relate to consumers," said Gina Delio, Tag Creative's chief creative officer. For longtime client Movado, the firm recently created TV spots as well as a new website and digital videos that promote the Swiss watch brand's MotionX smartwatch as a device that tracks consumers' fitness and sleep goals. And to launch YouTube star Michelle Phan's makeup line by L'Oréal, the team shot 60 Web tutorials and spots, leading to more work with the Hispanic-focused L'Oréal Paris Latina line and Urban Decay. So how does this digital shop differentiate itself? Eighty percent of Tag Creative's staffers are women. "It wasn't our intention, but we're always pleasantly surprised that they're some of the best talent in the industry," Delio noted.
