Valspar, the paint company, is breaking a print, TV and online campaign next week that employs an artistic approach to get home improvers to infuse their surroundings with beauty.

The ads feature objects like a violin, a starfish and peppers dripping with the paint. While a 2007 campaign showed colorful panoramas found in the natural world, the idea for this campaign, said a rep for Euro RSCG, the Chicago agency that is handing the effort, is to get across the idea that “color inspiration and sources of strength are not only found in big beautiful nature vistas, but also in terms of items found in everyday life.”
