Trigon Blue Cross Puts Account Into Review

Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield has put its estimated $2-3 million dollar marketing account into review, according to Melissa Viscomi, ad manager for Trigon Blue Cross.

The Richmond, Va.-based managed health care company, which provides coverage to some two million corporate and individual members, sent out a request for information to 12 agencies in the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest. The Richards Group in Dallas and McKinney and Silver in Raleigh, N.C. were among those contacted.

Incumbent Arnold Worldwide in McLean, Va., which won the business about a year ago, did not execute a full-scale creative campaign, client sources said.

Previously, The Martin Agency in Richmond held the business for more than a dozen years.
