When it comes to judging leaders, gender stereotypes still hold true. The Center for Talent Innovation surveyed about 4,000 executives and found that while women bosses are held to a higher standard when it comes to emotional intelligence, men are judged more harshly for showing their feelings. And when it comes to appearance, female leaders’ harshest critics are, sadly, other women.
