Richard Pinder, the former chief operating officer of Publicis Worldwide, is back in the game with a new venture called The House Worldwide, led by former industry execs working with a network of agencies that will target global brands.
The House, operating out of London and Singapore, is led by a team that includes Peter Rawlings, former COO of DDB Asia; Chris Chard, former global chief strategy officer at Lowe in New York; and Ben Stobart, an ex-worldwide account director at Leo Burnett in Chicago. Pinder, who is co-founder and CEO, left Publicis in March 2011 when Jean-Yves Naouri, the COO of agency parent company Publicis Groupe, became executive chairman of Publicis Worldwide and was seen as a frontrunner to succeed Maurice Lévy as chief of Publicis Groupe.
Pinder, an Englishman, returned to the U.K. from France to quietly launch the new initiative in "beta" more than a year ago and is unveiling it publicly now. It could not immediately be determined if clients have signed up with the new initiative or whether The House has backing from other investors. The House will offer marketers access to more than 500 people in its network, a number that is expected to increase.
Those partners include the following marketing, media, production and consulting companies: Naked Communications, New York; Red 212, Cincinnati, China, Madrid; Kitchen 8, Singapore; Change, Paris; Prime PR, Stockholm; ToscaHouse, U.K.; Noah, London; Rhino Worldwide, Houston; Equizone Global, U.K.; Path Worldwide, the location of which could not be immediately determined; and Chouchkov Brothers Studio, Sofia, Bulgaria.
