DALLAS Two Southwest agencies have picked up new business and another has made an acquisition.

Houston-based Fogarty Klein Monroe has been awarded ad duties for the commercial division of the Woodlands Operating Company, a master-planned community north of Houston. The agency, which won the business in a review against undisclosed contenders, will handle advertising, public relations, direct marketing, e-marketing and event planning for the client. The client had handled the work in-house. Billings are undisclosed.

The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival has tapped Rick Johnson & Company of Albuquerque, N.M., to handle its marketing and public relations duties. The agency will develop a radio and print campaign, in addition to collateral, for the events that begin in July.

In addition, Warren Direct, a direct marketing agency in Austin, Texas, has acquired locally based Fast Media a direct-response media buying agency, for an undisclosed amount. Fast Media, which specializes in long-form direct response TV, brings a client base with over $12 million in billings to Warren, the agencies said.
