LOS ANGELES Deborah Wahl Meyer has been named vice president of marketing for Lexus, she confirmed.

Meyer, former corporate manager of marketing communications for Lexus parent Toyota Motors Sales, Torrance, Calif., replaces Mark Templin, who is moving to Toyota’s Scion brand. She reports to Bob Carter, recently promoted to group vice president and general manager [Adweek Online, March 25].

“I’ve confiscated my husband’s Lexus,” Meyer said, regarding her new ride to the automaker’s Torrance office. “It’s a great honor to work on this brand.
