McCann Erickson has quietly been picking up creative assignments for Verizon Wireless, an account that left the Interpublic agency in 2010 for Dentsu’s mcgarrybowen.

The latest work from McCann, “Map Gallery,” which broke earlier this month, follows commercials like “Rorschach” in October and “Reality Check” in August.

When McCann was Verizon Wireless’s creative lead agency, it developed the map concept with ads like “There’s a map for that” which parodied Apple’s “There’s an app for that” campaign.
