McCann Erickson is ratcheting up the global expansion of McCann Enterprise, the company’s business-to-business agency, which launched in London in 2010 and this year opened offices in Singapore and Munich. The micro network has also begun working closely with McCann’s existing B2B operations within the Interpublic agency’s operations in New York, Salt Lake City and Sao Paulo.
McCann Enterprise’s growth has been driven by international assignments from clients like Nestlé Professional, Tata Communications, Tata Steel, Merck Animal Health, Toshiba, Fiberweb, Skandia, Deloitte, McKinsey, Akzo Nobel, SG Blocks, Kimberly Clark and Cargill ETM.
London-based McCann Enterprise managing director Stephen Meade and creative director Will Shepherd will continue to oversee the offering.
“The focus in 2013 will be on building our brand in the Americas, notably Brazil and the USA, and doing that through client assignments and new business,” Meade said. “As an example of how Enterprise will work, in the U.S., Enterprise and McCann Salt Lake City have complementary category expertise with Salt Lake City having exceptional tech experience and Enterprise having consumer goods, financial and pharma credentials. The two will work in tandem, as appropriate, and also build individual client rosters.”
