Zenith Media will take over the media planning and buying for FX Networks' television and digital media business from Media Storm. The account will be managed at Zenith's Los Angeles office, though buying will be handled in New York as well.

Sources estimated media spending at more than $15 million.

The business was won without a pitch, but FX began talking to Zenith in May. The assignment includes FX, FXX, FXM and FXNow. American Horror Story: Freak Show, which debuts in October, will be the first show launch for which Zenith will be responsible.

Stephanie Gibbons, president of marketing and on-air for FX Networks, noted Zenith's relationship with 20th Century Fox Filmed Entertainment—the Publicis Groupe shop has managed strategy, planning and buying for the entertainment company since 2007—while championing the new partnership.
