DALLAS Lexmark has awarded Doner creative duties on its estimated $25 million ad account, the agency confirmed.

The Southfield, Mich.-based independent agency beat out Dallas-based indie The Richards Group for the printer manufacturer’s business.

The work had been with Chicago’s LB Works, which was absorbed into Publicis Group’s Leo Burnett in November.

Sources said the Lexington, Ky.-based client wants to produce work with a more consumer-oriented focus, in addition to the b-to-b approach it has used in the past.
