The Hain Celestial Group, a natural and organic products company, has partnered with Discovery’s Planet Green television channel and eco-lifestyle expert, Sara Snow, to promote healthy eating habits in conjunction with this month’s focus on earth-friendly initiatives.

Hain Celestial’s food and skincare product lines include brand such as Celestial Seasonings, Health Valley, WestSoy, Earth’s Best, Terra Chips, Walnut Acres Organic, Rice Dream, Soy Dream, Ethnic Gourmet, Yves Veggie Cuisine, Zia Natural Skincare, Avalon Organics, Alba Botanica and Queen Helene.

The promotion will offer consumers of Hain Celestial products and Planet Green viewers a chance to win $10,000, plus an in-home consultation on healthful eating with Snow. In addition to the grand prize, there will be 50 second-prize gift baskets filled with Hain Celestial natural and organic products, and an autographed copy of Sara Snow’s book, Fresh Living: The Essential Room-by-Room Guide to a Greener, Healthier Family and Home.

The contest kicks off with TV and online spots on Planet Green, which will direct consumers to www.turnyourtablegreen.com. On the Web site, consumers can enter the sweepstakes and get information on creating a greener eating lifestyle, as well as receive a multipurchase coupon for Hain Celestial items. The promotion will be supported by an e-newsletter and in-store merchandising. The contest runs until May 15.
