Meebo says personality, more than our demographic characteristics, influences our likes and dislikes. Based on a survey, it found that people who planned to see certain movies are likelier to have certain personalities, with their associated product and brand preferences. Marketers can use this information by advertising during previews, with product tie-ins, and around TV shows with similar audiences.
