LOS ANGELES-Steve Jobs, acting chief executive officer of Apple Computer, held final meetings last Thursday with the two ad agencies he has chosen to vie for the company’s $80-90 million U.S. account: Arnold Communications in Boston and TBWA Chiat/Day in Venice, Calif.
Jobs is expected to make a decision soon; however, no announcement had been made by press time on Friday. Jobs will most likely reveal his selection this week at the MacWorld Expo convention in Boston.
David Roman, Apple vice president of advertising and brand communications, would not confirm the two finalists but did explain that the process had changed from the original plan.
