NEW YORK – Motorola is conducting a closed review involving three agencies for its estimated $35 million global semiconductor business, sources said.
Motorola, with corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, Ill., heard strategic presentations last week. A decision could come this week, sources said. There is at least one New York shop contending, sources said.
It was unclear at press time whether the corporate office in Schaumburg or the Motorola Semiconductor Product Sector, based in Austin, Texas, was heading the review.
