Yankees Divisional Clinch, Big Win for YES Network

The New York Yankees ride into the post-season with big numbers for the YES Network.

Last night’s Rays-Yankees telecast was the second-highest-rated Yankees game of the year on YES, and was the cable network’s highest-rated Yankees broadcast not involving the Red Sox in nearly four seasons.

As the Yankees were on the verge of capturing their 16th playoff berth in 17 seasons, the telecast was registering a 7.01 average Household rating in the New York, which translates to 640,000 average total viewers. 

The telecast peaked at a 9.07
