WXTV to Air New York Senatorial Debate in Spanish
Candidates for the U.S. Senate from New York met this afternoon for a taped debate. Univision-owned WXTV will air the verbal confrontation between Republican Joe DioGuardi and Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand on Sunday afternoon from 5 to 6 p.m.
The debate is taped at the WABC studios in New York. Channel 7 anchor Bill Ritter is the moderator with colleague Dave Evans and WXTV anchor Merijoel Durán on the panel.
WABC airs the debate on Sunday morning at 11.
The station streamed the event live Friday afternoon on their website.
