Candidates for the U.S. Senate from New York met this afternoon for a taped debate. Univision-owned WXTV will air the verbal confrontation between Republican Joe DioGuardi and Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand on Sunday afternoon from 5 to 6 p.m.
The debate is taped at the WABC studios in New York. Channel 7 anchor Bill Ritter is the moderator with colleague Dave Evans and WXTV anchor Merijoel Durán on the panel.
WABC airs the debate on Sunday morning at 11.
