Rosanna Scotto, the popular morning co-anchor on WNYW/Channel 5’s Good Day New York , jokes about her Brooklyn roots. The veteran broadcast journalist and Dyker Heights native is proud to wear Brooklyn on her sleeve.

Tonight, the Brooklyn Cyclones are holding a special Brooklyn Pride Night. Scotto is being crowned “Queen of BrooklyNite.”

As for another Brooklyn favorite, WCBS-FM nighttime jock Joe Causi, he doesn’t just wear it on his sleeve, he has his home borough in his title. “Brooklyn’s Own” is the emcee for tonight’s festivities prior to the ballgame.

Former Met (and, yes, Brooklyn-born) pitching great John Franco will be on hand to sign autographs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

The program features a tribute to the iconic Duke Snider, who died in February.
