UVA Frat Sues Rolling Stone for $25 Million

You reap what you sow.

Phi Kappa Psi, the fraternity at the center of Rolling Stone’s botched campus rape story, has sued the magazine for $25 million. The suit is against the magazine and the author of the now-retracted piece, Sabrina Rubin Erdely.

The article in question—”A Rape on Campus: A Brutal Assault and Struggle for Justice at UVA”—was published in November of last year. In the piece, Erdely claimed that a student named “Jackie” was gang raped by members of Phi Kappa Psi.
