United Airlines Books Elmore Leonard

For a magazine designed to meet the "high expectations" of business and first class travelers.

Per a New York Times weekend item, Rhapsody is a high-end monthly magazine put out by United Airlines exclusively for first class and business class passengers. The publication launched in November 2013 and will feature, in the June issue, a previously unpublished short story by the late Elmore Leonard, who passed away in 2013.

From Alexandra Alter’s article:

Rhapsody’s office, an open space with exposed pipes and a vaulted brick ceiling, sits in Dumbo at the epicenter of literary Brooklyn, in the same converted tea warehouse as the literary journal N+1 and the digital publisher Atavist.
