Trump Said Lots of Nothing During NY Times Meeting

Screen Shot 2016-11-23 at 8.38.01 AMDonald Trump—despite initially cancelling a meeting with The New York Times— did eventually take part in a lengthy session with the paper’s staffers. Once the meeting was underway, Trump changed his views to fit the audience. Like always.

After raging that he would imprison Hillary Clinton, Trump said he wouldn’t. “Look, I want to move forward, I don’t want to move back,” he explained. “And I don’t want to hurt the Clintons. I really don’t.”

He finally addressed his many white supremacy supporters by stating, “I’m not looking to energize them.
