Love following the New York City Marathon? Well, channel that enthusiasm for the sport of running into a byline at Triathlete.
The mag is the oldest and largest to cover triathlons in the U.S., but it’s not only for seasoned triathletes: there’s a special beginner’s issue each year. “We focus on those tips a lot, trying to shepherd people into the sport,” said managing editor Adam Elder.
“The combination of pro and expert voices we have is really unmatched,” he continued. Elder also encourages freelance submissions. “We generate a lot of ideas, but we’re totally open to what people pitch if we can find space in the magazine,” he explained.
