Tony Curtis Dies at 85

Tony Curtis, the man who dressed up in drag opposite Jack Lemmon and Marylin Monroe in “Some Like it Hot,” died yesterday of cardiopulmonary arrest in Henderson, Nevada. He was 85.

“My father leaves behind a legacy of great performances in movies and in his paintings and assemblages,” actress Jamie Lee Curtis, his daughter, said in a statement. “He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him and a wife and in-laws who were devoted to him.
