Studio City Filmmaker Reaps Huge Earnings from Tongal

During tomorrow’s telecast of Super Bowl XLVII, a pair of TV ads for Dunder Mifflin and Colgate-Palmolive will have something very cool in common. Both are byproducts of tongal.com, a crowd-sourcing video content development platform that connects users with name-brand competitive assignments.

The Marina del Rey-based company just raised $15 million and is allowing for all sorts of incredible individual success stories. Take Don Broida, the January “Tongaler of the Month.” Since joining Tongal last June, he has earned upwards of $90,000, which has allowed to spend more time at home with his eight-month-old son.
