The LA Times might not know anything about the Rolling Stones, but they sure do know a lot about Persian Palaces. Wait, can we even call them that? That seems wrong. Shouldn’t it be Palaces of Iranian Descent?

Greg Goldin comes to the defense of the Palace, the despised LA structures which cluster heavily around the Beverly Hills area. He claims the Palaces are almost as universally-hated as the strip malls of the 1970s. Although we’ve come to love our strip malls as the homes of excellent sushi restaurants and cheap dry cleaning.
