San Antonio Writer Spoofs at an Alarming Rate
Every once in a while, a headline from the parody website TheSpoof.com makes more sense to us than much of the day’s straight-faced news coverage. Such is the case with the following January 19th tease, datelined Wasilla – “Ricky Gervais Has Agreed to Be Sarah Palin’s 2012 Presidential Campaign Manager.”
Gervais has garnered a number of new right-wing fans for his caustic hosting of the 2010 Golden Globes, and although we’re not sure about his personal politics, we figure that for the right amount of money he might well be up for the Palin gig.
