The New York Times Asks for Readers’ 9/11 Relics

By Chris O'Shea Comment

The 10th anniversary of 9/11 is coming up, and to honor those that died and those that were impacted by the tragedy, The New York Times is doing something interesting: It’s asking for photographs of readers’ relics from that day. As indicated in the post, it can be anything that reminds you of 9/11 – a note, lyrics to a song, anything.

Along with your pictures, the Times is asking that you explain why you kept it and what it means to you. The Times will then select some of the submissions to be featured in a special issue (online and in print) published on 9/11.

If you’d like to submit something, you can do so here.
